About the Band
Kimme's Project
Kimme's Project is a 10-piece horn band with a 7 piece core band based out of Red Bank, New Jersey. The band offers performances at various venues including bars, restaurants, corporate events, and venues including but not limited to Nip-N-Tuck, Our House Tavern, Shawn's Crazy Saloon, Bar Anticipation and many more. The band has been out performing for 3 years, with the addition of horns shortly after. Kimme's Project stands out for its unique lineup, which includes lead guitar, rhythm guitar, piano, bass guitar, drums, male and female vocalists, trumpet, trombone, and tenor/bari sax.
The Core
Kimme - Female Vocalist/Percussionist and Band Manager
Jim - Male Vocalist and Percussionist
Born and raised in Monmouth County, Jim has been playing music since he was 12. Jim has played Drums, Guitar, and Vocals in various bands over the years at places such as but not limited to, The Stone Pony, Downtown, Studio One, Crossroads, Rock and Dukes, and many more.
Chris - Lead Guitarist
Chris Terry is a versatile musician known for his diverse playing style and adaptive guitar tones.Born and raised on the Jersey Shore, Chris discovered his passion for music at a young age. Being surrounded by his musical family members, he was inspired and encouraged to explore various instruments, such as drums and keyboards.
When not performing with his primary band (The Cozmix), Chris can be found holding down lead guitar duty with Kimme's Project.
Mike - Drummer
Mike is a seasoned and dedicated drummer focused primarily on the rock genre, including classic and hard rock music. In addition to his drumming responsibilities for Kimme's Project, Mike also sits behind the kit for Tilted, an original hard rock band at the Jersey Shore. Mike currently resides with his girlfriend in Toms River NJ.
The one who leads the band to success. Band manager of Kimme's Project, Underground Sky, and Feeling Right Tonight Bands. At the young age of 8 years old, Kimme began learning piano and the organ. She started playing and singing in choirs at Red Bank Catholic from 1974-1977, then continued at Marymount University. She continued to play in different bands from the 1970's to 2015. Unfortunately, due to illness, she had to stop playing Piano and Organ. She now plays simple percussion instruments while singing genres like Gospel, rock, and blues music. Kimme works at Seman Tov, and is the manager at Mr. D and Kimme Karaoke, but also the owner of Kimme's catering!

Robbie- Keys
Matt is a seasoned guitarist raised on Classic Rock and Classic Metal. He has been playing for several decades with influences including Deep Purple, Judas Priest, Pink Floyd, etc. He has been playing out since the early 90’s. Bands include Daddy Longlegs, Fallout and Vinyl Tap, Generation Gap
Ivan has played most of his adult lifetime. His musical tastes include classic rock, blues, funk, reggae, ska and soul. He is extremely excited to be playing with the talented musicians in Kimme's Project!
Robbie is a solid performer, musician, and music producer, adept in a wide array of instruments and genres from funk house to cinematic music. As an Ableton Live specialist and seasoned performer, he offers comprehensive music services, including personalized lessons, tailored compositions, and energetic performances. An all around musical genius
Al - Bass
Rockin' Al has been playing Bass Guitar since the 7th grade. Being mostly in Classic Rock Bands throughout his career, he has also been part of a band called MedRock. Al has played with Simon Kirk (Free), Ricky Bird (Joan Jet) & Kasim Sulton (Utopia), Brit Lighting (Vixens), Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (Guns & Roses); Tommy London (Dirty Pearls & SiriusXM DJ), Chandler Mogel (Double Vision) and Jessie Wagner (Stevie Van Zandt). Rockin Al is honored and humbled to be part of this great experience called Rock n Roll!
Hunter - Tenor/Bari Sax
Hunter has been playing saxophone for 15 years. He grew up playing jazz and classical music but once he graduated high school, he made a pivot to playing in rock bands. He is the sax player for Kimme's project and alto/tenor/bari sax and flute in many other bands including The Pink Floyd Project, Treble, Stereo Jo, and more.
Max - Trombone
Jeff - Trumpet
Max is a multi-talented Euphonium and Trombone player based out of Short Hills. He graduated from Eastman School of Music in 2022 with a Euphonium performance degree. While studying Euphonium, he started playing trombone his Junior year of college. He now plays for various bands including Kimme's Project in North Jersey.
Jeff is a New York based trumpet player and teacher. He has toured nationally and internationally with a wide variety of musical acts including Broadway productions, jazz, R&B, soul, and motown groups. He has performed and/or recorded with Billy Preston, Elvis Costello, Valerie Simpson, Anthony Hamilton, and many more. He also has recorded on numerous motion picture soundtracks, TV Productions, and podcast. Very recently, he recorded cornet solos for The Gilded Age (Season 3) on HBO Max.
